We Build Retreat: Powered By Women

AUGUST 4th-6th, 2017

Fort Collins, CO

This year, GRID Alternatives Colorado is holding our second annual Women's Build and Retreat, "She Shines," to help women develop professional confidence in every stage in her career. This weekend will bring together more than 50 people who identify as women who are interested in the Colorado renewable energy industry-- leading executives, up-and-coming professionals, and community members.

Join us as we install a community solar garden, learn from women leaders in their fields, and workshop how women can support women in the renewable energy industry.

Go above and beyond for Women in Solar!

We Build Retreat is a fundraising event which will support our mission of expanding solar access and job training to underserved communities. Each participant is asked to contribute a minimum of $150 to cover the costs of food, lodging, & professional development. You can contribute to your own fundraising page or solicit outside donations to meet this minimum. The individual fundraising goal for this event is $10,000. Sponsorship opportunities are also available - contact Leslie at lproudfoot@gridalternatives.org to learn more!

GRID's Women in Solar Initiative enables women like Krystal Ruiz to gain the skills they need to land jobs in the solar industry.

Clean Energy for Colorado Families

In addition to supporting women's job training, you will also be providing clean solar energy to deserving Fort Collins area families, reducing their energy burden so they can save money and put more towards food, medicine, clothes and school supplies for their kids.
